Experience at Taman Rekreasi Bukit Serindit

assalamualaikum...
i will share one of my assignment
in park and recreation subject...
i write this same as the assignment the that i give to my lecturer...

some of the moment there..!!

Taman Rekreasi Bukit Serindit was 45 acres located in the city center, it easily accessible. This park allows us to join an aerobics session, which is being driven by the coaches in the early morning or evening, especially on weekends or you can just have a family picnic evening breeze around an artificial lake and children's playground there. You also can see hockey matches or athletics competition held at Stadium Tun Fatimah, the main component of a recreation center in this park.

It became a traditions hotel and tourism faculty to do event that we call as Induction. This event will allows us students from all parts to do some activities together. It also allows us to know each other better between seniors and juniors in this faculty. I feel so excited and glad to do some activities at Taman Rekreasi Bukit Serindit on last weekends. First of all, I want to say thanks to the hotel and tourism faculty lecturer which allows us to do activities here. This is my first experience at this park. I am so excited to go and see the environment there.

Around 8 o’clock 6th October 2012 all the members of hotel and tourism faculty arrive at the park, we start our program with divide all the participants into 25 groups in each group they have nine to ten participants. At the beginning, my name is not listed in any of the groups. The groups had divided again, finally I was in the 17th groups. I feel very happy that most of my group members were familiar; they are Syamimi, Yana, Syakilla and Nadia. The other three of my group members are our juniors from part one and two others are new students in part three.

After the division of groups, this treasure hunt has been launched by the new head of the program, Mrs. Asliza Binti Mohd Yusof. In her speech, she hoped that all programs to be carried out in this semester can be successfully done and the get support from all students in this course. After the speech from the head of the program, we are together doing aerobic exercise led by several students from part three. Then, the treasure hunt started successfully by 25 groups.

In the treasure hunts, each group should go to ten check point and complete the tasks in each check point. Some of the check points are twister, paper cooperation, mystery box, charade, the streets looking for food, spontaneous joke, ten in one and others. In my opinion the most difficult task in this treasure hunt is spontaneous joke. In this task, members of the group should be doing jokes until guardians check point laugh.

During the treasure hunt, I review situation around the park. There are a lot of facilities that provided there such as jogging track, parking lots, playgrounds, public toilets, benches near the lake, the open space and more. In my opinion, the most attractive facilities at there are the Stadium Hockey. On that day, the primary school level hockey tournament was held at there. It reminds me sweet memories of my primary school, where I was one of a hockey player for my school. I miss that moment.

Other than that, birds courting competition was held there. Some of the participant of the competition invited our group to see the competition, but we refuse the invitation and ask for apologize because we are in treasure hunts and wanted to quickly end the treasure hunt. Unfortunately, my group did not get any prize but I am proud to be able to complete all tasks happily and fulfill my weekend with sweaty activities like this. I love to do activities like this in weekends.
